San Francisco got a treat this week! The one and only (and completely fabulous) Sarah Bowen Shea made an appearance at the Presidio Sports Basement to read from her new book, “Run Like a Mother”.
The book is divided into 26 wonderfully written chapters which she split with co-author Dimity McDowell. Wine and cheese in hand, we peppered Sarah with question after question. It’s an interesting read and a very intriguing topic.
Sarah had the packed audience laughing and reminiscing. Hearing Sarah read about her ex-husband, with her ex-husband sitting a stone’s throw away was awkwardly hysterical. Somehow, Sarah combed it over with charm and grace. A friend of the agency for years, we felt honored to be invited to her reading. It was a great event. At the end, all I wanted to do was go on a run.
Go out and buy “Run Like a Mother” – it is the perfect Mother’s Day gift!
